Pratyusha Banerjee (born on Aug. 10, 1991 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India) was an Indian television star. She became famous for her work on Balika Vadhu, and has done tons of reality shows since it aired in 2010. She was very well known because of how many competition shows she had been on, from Kitchen Champion 4 to Bigg Boss 7 to Power Couple. Sadly, Pratyusha apparently took her own life on Apr. 1, 2016.

Pratyusha was best known for portraying Anandi Shivraj Shekhar on the hit Indian TV show Balika Vadhu.

Personal Life:
Pratyusha was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, but moved to Mumbai to become a television star. She appeared on many shows, most recently with her boyfriend Rahul Singh on a show called Power Couple. Sadly, Pratyusha took her own life on Apr. 1.
