Bio:
Nohemi Gonzalez (born Nohemi Gonzalez on October 19, 1992, in Whittier, California) was a Mexican-American California State University Long Beach student, who was killed in the Paris terrorist attacks on November 13, 2015. The senior design major was studying abroad with 17 other CSU Long Beach students at the Strate College of Design in Sèvres, France, when fatally shot in the stomach at one of the Parisian restaurants targeted by ISIS terrorists in the gruesome attacks. Nohemi was the first U.S. citizen identified as a victim in the incident.

Personal Life:
Called Mimi by those closest to her, Nohemi was looking forward to a promising career in design, and to one day having kids, according to her family. Nohemi was a first-generation American, and had dual Mexican-American citizenship. She was bilingual in Spanish and English, and working on being trilingual in French while studying abroad. She was dating a boy named Tim Mraz at the time of her death.
