Mackenzie Dern (born March 24, 1993 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American mixed martial artist and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. She was taught by her father, Wellington ‘Megaton’ Dias and holds a black belt under his teaching. Mackenzie is currently the number one female black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. She began training at 3 years old by practicing with her father, one of the top Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts in the world, and her step mother, who is also a black belt. She began to compete at a young age and has risen to the top of her practice. In July 2016, Mackenzie made her MMA fighting debut and won.
