Joe Pavelski (born Joseph James Pavelski in Plover, Wisconsin on July 11, 1984) is a professional ice hockey player. Joe began his career with the San Jose Sharks, where is his currently a captain. He has played with the team for ten years and was named the 11th captain in Sharks history. Joe played for the 2010 and 2014 USA Olympic team.

Personal Life:
Joe attended University of Wisconsin, where he helped his ice hockey team win the 2006 NCAA Division 1 MEn’s Ice Hockey Championship and lead the team in overall points. Joe married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Pavelski, in July 2008. The two have a son, Nathan Pavelski, born on October 26 2010.
