Florence Kiplagat (born Florence Jebet Kiplagat near Marakwet, Kenya on February 27, 1987) is a long distance runner from Kenya. She is the current record holder for the women’s half marathon for her 1:05:09 time. She is a two-time world champion and is the record holder in Kenya with a time of 30:11:53. In 2015 she set the Half Marathon World Record with a time of 1:05:09 in Barcelona. She recently made headlines for winning the 2015 Chicago Marathon.
