She is best known for being the “Queen of Neo Soul.” Her first two albums, Baduizm and Mama’s Gun, spawned singles like “On & On,” “Next Lifetime,” “Bag Lady” and “Didn’t Cha Know?” She won a Grammy in 2000 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. She hosted the 2015 Soul Train Awards and threw major shade at Iggy Azalea.
