Cain Velasquez (born Caín Ramírez Velásquez in Salinas, CA on July, 28, 1982) is a Mexican-American wrestler and mixed martial artist. The former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion currently resides in San Jose, CA. He belongs to the American Kickboxing Academy. As of 2016 he is #15 in official UFC pound-for-pound rankings. He is the #3 heavyweight in the world via Sherdog. His style is kickboxing and wrestling, and he is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He began his career making his MMA debut in 2006 when he won by TKO in the first round against Jesse Fujarczyk. He also made his UFC debut by a TKO win in the first around against Brad Morris at UFC 83.

Best Known For:
Cain Velasquez is best known for his “Brown Pride” tattoo on his chest, aside from his impressive fighting record.

Cain Velasquez is married to Michelle Borquez Velasquez. The two have a daughter, Coral Love Velasquez. She was born on May 6, 2009.
