Bob Harper (born on August 18, 1965 in Nashville, Tennessee) is an American personal fitness trainer and author. He makes public appearances, runs mytrainerbob.com, has a DVD series called Bob Harper: Inside Out Method and has written multiple books, including Skinny Habits, The Skinny Rules and Skinny Meals. He currently serves as an advisor on the show The New Celebrity Apprentice, and is the host of The Biggest Loser.

Bob’s many celebrity clients include Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ben Stiller, Selma Blair and Gwyneth Paltrow. He attended Austin Peay State University, though he did not graduate. He has a black and white dog named Karl and was a vegan from 2010-13. Bob was the national spokesman for Farm Sanctuary’s 2010 Walk for Farm Animals. He is also publicly gay, and has revealed that he came out to his parents at the age of seventeen. He is dating Anton Gutierrez.
