Alexandra Shipp (born Phoenix, Arizona on July 16, 1991) is an American actress. She starred on the Lifetime biopic Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B in 2014. She’s also appeared in Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Switched at Birth, and Victorious. Alexandra also replaced Nick Cannon in the Drumline sequel.

Alexandra is best known for playing the late R&B singer Aaliyah in Lifetime’s Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B.
