After what feels like years of gratuitous shirtless depravation, MTV’s Teen Wolf will return for the second half of its third season in just 83 hours — but who’s counting? The Dec. 27 series finale of Nikita was many things: explosive, intense and final; but mostly, it was just bittersweet and perfect. Beyond merely wrapping up four seasons of storyline and giving us a glimpse into the characters’ futures, it also brought Nikita’s (Maggie Q) entire gut-wrenching journey full-circle — from a sinner with a dark past to a savior with a bright future.

After three months of blood, sweat and trebles, the final contestants of The Voice’s fifth season — Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin — came together Dec. 17 for one last meeting of the melodies. Unfortunately, only one would emerge victorious at the end of the two-hour event.

The ‘Witches’ ended their first season with two — possibly three — big deaths, and an even bigger arrival.
Freya’s (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) wedding day finally arrived on the Dec. 15 season finale of Lifetime’s Witches of East End, and the ceremony went off without a hitch! No, seriously, no one got hitched. Of course, Freya and Dash’s (Eric Winter) aborted nuptials were hardly the most surprising twist of the hour.

Just when you thought Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) dead parent problems couldn’t become any more complicated, the Dec. 12 episode of The Vampire Diaries revealed that her dad was the scientist who designed the very experiments currently being conducted on her. Of course, the torture she experienced on the operating table wasn’t nearly as bad as the emotional torture she would face at the end of the midseason finale.

Kanye West and his reality star fiancée, whom ‘South Park’ claims has ‘the body of a Hobbit,’ were the main focus of the Dec. 11 episode.
