They don’t call it Holly-weird for nothing! The Canyons, a new movie from director Paul Schrader and writer Bret Easton Ellis, tells the twisted tale of a producer (James Deen) who discovers his actress girlfriend (Lindsay Lohan) is carrying on an affair with a fellow actor from her past (Nolan Gerard Funk). Needless to say, all three of their lives are quickly turned upside down.

Has Wilden’s true killer finally been revealed? … I doubt it.
There’s a chance Hanna (Ashley Benson) might have gone a little too far helping her mom on the July 30 episode of Pretty Little Liars. Desperate to get her mom out of prison, she decided to tell the cops that she killed Detective WIlden (Bryce Johnson), and she turned to the one person she knew could help her perfect a lie: Mona (Janel Parrish)! Unfortunately, Hanna’s knight in shining hair didn’t approve of her new ally. Could this be the beginning of the end of her relationship with Caleb (Tyler Blackburn)?

There was a whole lot of finger pointing going on during the July 29 episode of Teen Wolf. Allison (Crystal Reed) spent most of the hour convinced her dad was the Darach, while Scott (Tyler Posey) accused Ms. Morrell of being behind all of this season’s brutal murders. As it turns out, they were BOTH wrong!

When someone dies in your bed, it’s customary to simply wash the sheets and carry on. But after the gruesome/melty death we witnessed on the July 28 episode of True Blood, I’m thinking Bill (Stephen Moyer) might want to just throw out his entire bed and start fresh.

Teen Wolf delivered its much-hyped flashback episode July 22, and while the multiple strolls down memory lane held my interest for the hour, I’m definitely suffering from information overload. While Gerard relayed the twisted history of the evil Alpha pack, Peter’s (Ian Bohen) tale specifically focused on what turned Derek’s (Tyler Hoechlin) eyes into sparkling baby blues.

Season six really came to a head this week. (Seriously, though, stop reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.)
True Blood did a little house cleaning July 21, knocking off two relatively important, though very different, characters. We also got to see fairy-on-fairy sex for the first time, and it was even more sparkly than I could have ever imagined — not that I spent a lot of time imagining it. … Oh, boy.

But was it really Wilden’s killer? Probably not. The cops on this show are terrible at everything.
Fresh off her arrest at the sorority house, Hanna (Ashley Benson) was forced to stay home from school on the July 16 episode of Pretty Little Liars — which wasn’t as sweet as deal as it sounds, considering her parents were at each other’s throats about Wilden all day. Ashley (Laura Leighton) swore she didn’t shoot him, but Papa Marin wasn’t so convinced. And as it turned out, neither were the police!

But sadly, another wolf bites the dust. Find out which pack member didn’t last the night!
The July 15 episode of Teen Wolf introduced yet another phrase into fans’ vocabularies, “True Alpha,” as Scott (Tyler Posey) reached a new level in his own personal wolf-y evolution. Apparently pushing himself beyond his limits to save — or at least attempt to save — Dr. Deaton’s life turned Scott into a full-blown alpha wolf without having to be turned by someone else! Score?

I knew Sookie’s parents were racist, but were they also murderers? Probably, yeah.
Let’s start this week’s recap with a few rhetorical questions: Why does Sookie (Anna Paquin) keep digging into her past? Hasn’t she learned by now that the more questions she asks, the more people come out of the woodworks to kill her? Oh, who am I kidding? This is Sookie we’re talking about; she’s a big fairy dumb-dumb who gets off putting herself, and others, in harm’s way — which explains why the July 14 episode of True Blood ended with her being drowned in a damn lake.

Switched At Birth is about to go where no show about baby-swapping has gone before! The July 8 episode presents a ‘what if’ scenario, in which we see how different the girls’ lives would be if Regina (Constance Marie) had come clean about the switch when she first found out. With a cochlear implant and a sassy new attitude, Daphne is the most drastically different character in this alternate reality, and Katie Leclerc told HollywoodLife.com all about the shocking new side to her character.
