How To Lose  Holiday Weight

Start the new year right with these tips on how to get in shape after the holidays from Barry's Bootcamp's Donald Romaine.

Start with whatever you will be consistent with and gradually add on to that. 

CONSISTENCY

It takes a bit of time and a good amount of effort but learning about the food you eat, and macro nutrients will go a long way.

 DON’T START A FAD DIET

Weightlifting, running, cycling, anything! What’s important is that you enjoy being active and build off that.

SEEK OUT WHAT  YOU’D ENJOY 

Just like learning about food, learning about the activity you’re taking part in really offers long term value.

BE OPEN TO NEW THINGS

Cardio! Do not skip weights! Building muscle is a great way to burn fat for both men and women!

GET YOUR HEART RATE UP 

Though, if 2 days a week or 3 days a week is what you can handle at first - start there! Always work up and take your time.
