Looking for a meal to cook with Dad this Father’s Day? ‘Riverdale’ star Mark Consuelos has the ideal meal plan for grillers of any skill level.

Get ready to eat Garlic & Herb Grilled Halibut Skewers, a 6-ingredient recipe that is easy and fun to prepare together – like Mark and daughter, Lola!

First, the marinade: Whisk 3 tablespoons olive oil, l 3 tablespoons lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning in a small bowl.

Grill Tip from Mark:  Massage the seasoning into your  protein using a resealable bag.  A few minutes of massaging can be equal to hours of marinating time.

Alternately thread halibut, cherry tomatoes, and shishito peppers onto 6 skewers. Brush evenly with the seasoning mixture.

Grill Tip from Mark:  When using wooden skewers while grilling, always soak them in water for around 30 minutes to ensure they don’t burn.

Grill skewers over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, turning halfway through grilling and basting with reserved seasoning mixture.

Grill Tip from Mark:  Flip the protein as few times as possible – once is usually enough.
