I knew ‘True Blood’ wasn’t going to hold back in its final season, but I just never expected the show to actually kill off a main character so terribly. Yeah ‘True Blood,’ I’m side-eyeing you right now.
On the season seven premiere of True Blood, we had to say goodbye to one of our favorites characters since season one. Unfortunately, it was Tara (Rutina Wesley) who met the true death and was reduced to a gross pile of vampire goo. So why am I mad? 1) It’s Tara and 2) Her death was so unfair to the character arc True Blood had been building for her.

Talk about a compromise! What did you think of tonight’s epic ménage à Temps?

After three long seasons of Bill-or-Eric drama, Sookie (Anna Paquin) finally asked a very important question on the Aug. 21 episode of HBO’s True Blood: “Why can’t I have both?” The end result was a steamy scene that gave both Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) fans reason to pause. Then rewind, and play again.

Eric & Sookie finally consummated their timeless romance, while Bill drowned his sorrows in a glass of wine. Did I mention he was alone?
I’ve been looking forward to the July 31 episode of True Blood — the much-hyped full moon episode — for a while now, and I have to be honest, it was a little disappointing. As it turns out, you can’t “make” someone a were-panther, so Jason (Ryan Kwanten) didn’t get his big transformation, despite the many episodes dedicated to building up his story line. That being said, I was definitely NOT disappointed by the very last scene, in which Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) made sweet nasty love in the middle of the woods!
