Oliver Hudson (born Oliver Rutledge Hudson on September 7, 1976 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor and model. The son of actress Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson, Oliver grew up in Los Angeles until his parents split in 1980. After that, Oliver was raised, with his sister, Kate Hudson, in Colorado by his mother and actor, Kurt Russell. Oliver starred opposite his mother in the 1999 comedy, The Out-of-Towners, and later starred in teen movies The Smokers and Going Greek. Oliver appeared in sixteen episodes of Dawson’s Creek from 2002-03, playing Katie Holmes’s love interest. In 2006, Oliver starred in the horror movies The Breed and the remake of Black Christmas. However, one of his biggest roles came in 2007, when he was cast as Adam Rhodes in the CBS sitcom, Rules of Engagement. The show lasted until 2013. After its end, Oliver landed the role of Jeff Fordham in the ABC drama, Nashville. In 2015, Oliver replaced Joe Manganiello in the first season of the horror comedy series, Scream Queens.
