Bio:
Jonathan Scott (born Jonathan Silver Scott on April 28, 1978 in Vancouver, Canada) is a Canadian reality television personality, illusionist and television producer. Jonathan and his twin brother, Drew Scott, grew up on a horse farm in Vancouver in the town of Maple Ridge. Their father worked in the film industry and following in his footsteps, Jonathan started performing in small theater productions. Jonathan also got involved in magic, winning several awards as a youth and a teen. He became involved in producing and promoting independent film and television, sitting on the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists board. Jonathan and his brother began investing in real estate to help ease the financial burden. He got his degree in business management at University of Calgary, before going to college for construction and design. These interests eventually resulted in the television series, Property Brothers, which began airing in Canada and on HGTV in 2011. Jonathan also co-hosts Buying and Selling, Brother Vs. Brother and Property Brothers: At Home. In 2015, Jonathan and Drew launched an outdoor furniture line. Their bestselling book, Dream Home, was released in 2016. They launched their other spin-off series, Property Brothers: At Home on the Ranch, which took them back to their roots in Alberta, Canada.

Personal Life:
In addition to Drew, Jonathan has an older brother, JD Scott. Jonathan appeared in the 2007 edition of People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive issue. He is actively involved in charity efforts, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and World Vision. He and his brothers worked with No Child For Sale, fighting against child labor and trafficking.
