Danica McKellar (born Danica Mae McKellar in La Jolla, California on January 3, 1975) is an American actress. She got her big start as Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years, playing the show’s main character, Kevin Arnold’s, love interest and on-off girlfriend. Danica had a bit of trouble transitioning into an adult actress after The Wonder Years ended, but has appeared in a few Lifetime movies, as well as shows like How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory. In 2014, she competed with Val Chmerkovskiy on Dancing With The Stars, and finished in 6th place. Danica is also into her education, and graduated summa cum laude from UCLA in Mathematics. She’s written several educational books about math geared toward teenagers interested in the subject.

Personal Life:
Danica married Mike Verga on March 22, 2009 after eight years together. They welcomed a son, Draco, in 2010, but two years later, Danica filed for divorce. The split was finalized in Feb. 2013, and by July 26, 2014, she was engaged to Scott Sveslosky. They tied the knot just four months later in Hawaii.
