Bio:
Charles Kelley (born Charles Burgess Kelley in Augusta, Georgia on Sept. 11, 1981) is an American country singer and songwriter. He is one of the founding members of the musical trio Lady Antebellum. With Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, Charles formed Lady Antebellum in 2006 and the band released their self-titled album in 2008. The Grammy-winning trio are known for hits such as “American Honey,” “I Run To You,” and “Downtown.” Charles was also nominated for a Grammy for his debut solo single, “The Driver,” which features Dierks Bentley and Eric Pasley. His solo debut album titled The Driver was released on Feb. 6, 2016.

Personal Life:
Charles attended University of Georgia where he was a Finance major and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. In June 2009, Charles married his longtime girlfriend Cassie McDonnell. The two have one son, Ward Charles Kelley, born on Feb. 11, 2016. Katherine Heigl is Charles’ sister-in-law, as a result of her marriage to his brother, Josh Kelley.
