Bio:
Cady Groves (born July 30, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American country singer. She recognized a love for music at just 7 years old, graduated high school early, and went to culinary school at just 16. Cady eventually moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to begin her music career with RCA records. When she arrived, she met a 35-year-old producer who she began a months-long relationship with that got very serious…until she found out he had a wife. She used the devastating break up as inspiration for song lyrics, including her August 2011 hit “This Little Girl.” Around that time, she met Blake Shelton on Twitter, and after engaging in some drunken, back-and-forth messages, he asked to star in the song’s music video. After several failed singles that never made it big on radio, Cady made the tough decision to leave RCA in 2013, and has since been working on music on her own. The album she recorded during her first year on the label still has not been released.
