Johnny Knoxville (born Philip John Clapp, Jr. on March 11, 1971 in Knoxville, Tennessee) is an American actor, stunt performer and comedian. Johnny graduated from South-Young High School in 1989 and moved to California to pursue acting. He could only get commercial work and appearances as an extra. In order to make his own “big break,” Johnny began pitching article ideas to various magazines. After selling the idea of testing self-defense equipment on himself to Big Brother magazine, Johnny connected with the magazine’s editor, Jeff Tremaine. Together, they created the MTV hit television show, Jackass, in 2000. The show also produced four movies, plus a related film, Bad Grandpa. Johnny’s other acting work has included roles in Men in Black II, John Waters’s A Dirty Shame, Walking Tall and a starring role in 2005’s The Dukes of Hazzard. Johnny has also lent his voice to several animated projects, including Family Guy, Spongebob Squarepants and as the voice of Leonardo in 2014’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Johnny’s production company has produced films like The Birth of Big Air and The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.

Personal Life:
Johnny married Melanie Cates on in 1995. They had a daughter, Madison, in 1996. The couple filed for divorce in 2007 and finalized the split in 2008. In 2009, Johnny and his then-girlfriend, Naomi Nelson, announced they were expecting a baby. They welcomed son, Rocko Akira, in Dec. 2009. Johnny and Naomi married in 2010 and welcomed their second child, daughter Arlo, in 2011.
