Starring Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, and Tim Matheson, Virgin River premiered on Netflix in 2019 and has gone on to produce four seasons. The show follows a nurse practitioner named Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) who ditches Los Angeles for northern California for a fresh start in life. She eventually finds herself still having to face her past as she falls for bar owner Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson).
Ahead of the fourth season, Martin teased all the love, mystery, and drama that would come to light in the season. “I’m just going to say that season four reveals and answers all the questions, but then presents some more,” he told PureWow. “I think season four is going to be really satisfying for people because of that giant cliffhanger. There were multiple cliffhangers, which gives a little love/hate situation for the audience, where they love but hate the wait.”
Luckily for fans, production for Season 5 is already underway, which Martin confirmed on his Instagram page in a Sept. 2, 2022 post of him and Benjamin Hollingsworth, who plays Dan Brady. The post showed the pair in a sunlit forest but gave nothing else about what they could be working on for the upcoming season.
