Valentina Sampaio — Valentina Sampaio is an openly transgender model born in Brazil, who was just hired by Victoria’s Secret, on August 5. Valentina is the first transgender model the lingerie brand has ever hired, and she is one of many stunning models featured in the 2019 VS PINK back-to-campus campaign. Born on December 10, 1996, Valentina was born a male in Aquiraz, Ceará, Brazil. By the age of 8 years old, she knew she wanted to be a woman and by 10, she became Valentina. Aside from landing her new Victoria’s Secret gig, she has also modeled for L’Oreal, has appeared on many runways, and has graced the covers of German Vogue and Brazil Vogue. Valentina will make her Victoria’s Secret debut when she will appear in the VS PINK back-to-campus campaign which is out August 2019.
