Tyler Perry, born Emmitt Perry Jr. on September 13, 1969, is an actor, producer, writer and director who has become one of the biggest people in entertainment over the past twenty years. He’s primarily known for creating and performing in the role of Madea in many of his hit films and stage plays that has helped him amass a net worth of approximately $600 million dollars.
Outside of Madea, Tyler has found success on the small screen in shows like ‘The Haves and The Have Nots’ and ‘Love Thy Neighbor’, both of which debuted on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN.
