Tribeca Film Festival began in 2002, and happens annually in the New York City downtown neighborhood of Tribeca. This year, in its 17th year of the festival, big names and stars were drawn to the event. People like Amber Heard, Whoopi Goldberg, Hilary Duff, and more attended the festival for both screenings of their work and entertainment industry events. Like other festivals, Tribeca Film Festival offers panel discussions in addition to its premieres of independent work.
