‘Top Gun 2’

‘Top Gun 2’ — The first trailer for ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ was revealed during San Diego Comic Con on July 18. Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance to unveil the first look at the highly-anticipated sequel. Tom is reprising his role as Captain Pete “Maverick” Mitchell from the first film, which was released in 1986. ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ takes place over 30 years after the original film. Maverick is still a captain and will be mentoring Bradley Bradshaw, the son of his late flight partner and best friend Goose. Bradley is played by ‘Whiplash’ star Miles Teller. Val Kilmer will be returning as well to reprise his role as Iceman. New cast members include Glen Powell, Jon Hamm, Monica Barbaro, Jennifer Connelly, and Manny Jacinto.
