‘The Voice’ is back for its 21st season on September 20. Ariana Grande has joined the cast as a new coach. Take a look at photos of the show as season 21 gets underway.

‘The Voice’ Season 21 — See The Photos — ‘The Voice’ returns for season 21 on September 21. Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend are back as coaches, along with Ariana Grande. This marks the ‘7 Rings’ singer’s first time as a ‘Voice’ coach. Carson Daly is back as the host of the show.

As usual, the show will begin with the blind auditions. The competition will then consist of battle rounds, knockouts, and live performance shows. This season’s battle advisors include Jason Aldean (Team Kelly), Kristin Chenoweth (Team Ariana), Camila Cabello (Team Legend), and Dierks Bentley (Team Blake). During the battle rounds, the coaches will pit two of their own team members against each other to sing the same song together in front of a live, fully vaccinated in-studio audience, at limited capacity.
