The series stars Emmy and Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan as Midge Maisel, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Tony Shalhoub as Midge’s father Abe Weissman, Emmy winner Alex Borstein as Susie Myerson, Michael Zegen as Joel Maisel, Marin Hinkle as Midge’s mother Rose Weissman, Kevin Pollak as Moishe Maisel, and Caroline Aaron as Shirley Maisel. Over the course of season 2, Midge continued to climb the comedy ladder with Susie at her side. Her relationship with Joel reached a tipping point and Midge explored new love with Zachary Levi’s character, Benjamin. The second season consisted of 10 episodes. The series has been renewed for a third season, which will premiere in 2019. For its second season, the show walked away with 8 Emmy Awards.
