Stars of the latest Maggie Gyllenhaal-directed feature ‘The Lost Daughter’ gathered in London for the premiere of movie on Wednesday! The film tells the story of a woman who becomes obsessed with a young mother and daughter, who cause her to think about her own experiences as a young mother. It’s based on Italian author Elena Ferrante’s 2008 book, which the translation is also called ‘The Lost Daughter.’ The movie is Maggie’s first time stepping behind the camera and directing a feature film of her own.
