‘The Batman’ is about to swoop into theaters and fans could not be more excited. The new chapter of the Caped Crusader stars Robert Pattinson as Batman/Bruce Wayne, alongside Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Riddler/Edward Nashton, Colin Farrell as Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Barry Keoghan as Stanley Merkel, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon. Matt Reeves is leading the way as the director of ‘The Batman.’ The film is inspired by the ‘Year One’ comic book.

Filming kicked off in January 2020. The movie faced a series of delays in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The release date has been pushed a number of times, but it is now set for March 4, 2022, to premiere exclusively in theaters.

Zoe raved about Robert in a Feb. 2020 interview with ‘Variety’. “I’ve never worked with him before,” she said, “but we’ve been together for the last few weeks. I had to camera test with him and now we’ve been training together and rehearsing together and he’s just a delightful person and such a wonderful, thoughtful actor.”

“I think he’s perfect for the role,” Kravitz added, “and it’s going to be such an adventure. I’m excited to have him as my partner in crime and to be there to support each other, because it’s intense. It’s going to be a long shoot and there’s a lot of pressure, and I know he has my back and I have his.”

She told ‘Empire’ magazine, “We watched cats and lions and how they fight, and talked about what is actually possible when you’re my size, and Batman’s so much stronger than me. What is my skill? It’s being fast and tricky. So we did some really interesting floor work that incorporated different kinds of martial arts and capoeira and a kind of feline, dance-like movement.”
