The season starred Katie Thurston, who was a contestant on season 25 of ‘The Bachelor’ with Matt James. Katie stood out to fans on ‘The Bachelor’ because of her no-nonsense attitude, as well as her ability to keep it real and tell it like it is. She was actually one of two Bachelorettes chosen in 2021, as Michelle Young was also picked and will be having her own season later in the year.

‘The Bachelorette’s 17th season was hosted by former Bachelorettes, Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe. For the first time in franchise history, Chris Harrison did not return to host after making controversial, racially-insensitive comments during season 25. Tayshia and Kaitlyn stepped in to fill the void and help Katie through her experience on the show.
