Tan France is the appointed fashion expert on Netflix’s reboot of ‘Queer Eye,’ and he has transformed countless lives!

Tan — along with his fellow ‘Fab Five’ members Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown and Bobby Berk — hooked viewers with their makeovers on the Netflix series. As someone who’s an England native and identifies as gay, Tan wowed audiences by breaking cultural barriers in the midwest to perform wardrobe makeovers and form unlikely friendships. The “Fab Five” has also traveled to Australia and Japan for the show!

Tan was born in Doncaster, England to Muslim Pakistani parents, but eventually moved to the United States. Before landing a spot on ‘Queer Eye,’ Tan worked in wholesale clothing and owned ladies apparel brands. He is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been married to his husband, Rob France, since 2007.

Tan co-hosted the new Netflix show, ‘Next In Fashion,’ with none other than esteemed designer Alexa Chung!
