Tamar Braxton was born on March 17, 1977 in Severn, Maryland. She is part of the popular Braxton family of sisters that have had a successful reality series for years called ‘Braxton Family Values’ that has been airing on WE tv since 2011. Tamar was also featured on ‘Celebrity Big Brother 2’ on CBS in 2019 which she wound up winning against former NFL running back Ricky Williams.

She has also found much success in the music industry with the release of her 2013 album ‘Love & War’ that included the popular title track. It debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 200 charts with first week sales of 114,000 copies.

Tamar was married to ex-husband Vincent Herbert from 2008 until their divorce was finalized in July 2019. They share one child together: a son named Logan.
