‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ Cast: Then & Now

                                                                                                          So much has changed in the lives of America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, Blake Lively since they graced the silver screen as best friends in the 2005 film ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.’ Each woman has gone on to accomplish so much in her respective career, but the bonds between these women are just as tight as the thread through your favorite pair of denim jeans!

                                                                                                          Blake has gone on to become a bonafide, bankable movie star, leading films like The Rhythm Section and A Simple Favor. America Ferrera is the queen of comedy from the bunch with her work on Superstore, and Amber Tamblyn has continued to make appearances on some of our favorite TV shows. Alexis Bledel is a newly-minted Emmy winner, having won for her work on The Handmaid’s Tale. Most recently, the original four reunited to celebrate America’s performance in the hit movie Barbie.

Fans love to hear about their Sisterhood reunions and are still holding out hope that the quartet will reunite for a third film!                                                                                                           Blake Lively played Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and it’s 2008 sequel. She has since starred in The Age of Adeline (2015), A Simple Favor (2018), and The Rhythm Section (2020). She and husband Ryan Reynolds have four children together.

                                                                                                          America Ferrera played Carmen in ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.’ She reprised her role for the 2008. She’s a Golden Globe award-winner for her work on ABC’s Ugly Betty (2006-2010) and has appeared in shows The Good Wife, Gentefied, and Superstore. She and husband Ryan Piers Williams have a son and daughter together. Most recently, America received much acclaim for her performance in Barbie.

                                                                                                          Amber Tamblyn played Tibby in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the 2008 sequel. She has since starred in shows like House, The Unusuals, and The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret. She’s been married to actor David Cross since 2012 and the pair have a daughter.

                                                                                                          Alexis Bledel starred as Lena in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and in its 2008 sequel. While filming the movies, she also starred in the series Gilmore Girls. She has since gone on to appear in shows like Mad Men and The Handmaid’s Tale, the latter of which she won an Emmy for! She married Mad Men co-star Vincent Kartheiser in 2014 and the couple have a son.

                                                                                                          The entire core cast returned for the original film’s 2008 sequel. Fans are still awaiting news on a third installment, which Alexis Bledel has already signed on for.
