Many stars like “Believe” singer Cher took to the red carpet for the premiere of Sidney on Sept. 21. That night the pop icon wore a monochromatic black look that consisted of pants and a blazer. Her jacket had a unique edge with a single ruffled lapel on her left side. Cher completed the look with black platform boots, red glitter eyeshadow, and silver rings.

The premiere was for the documentary, Sidney, which looks at the life of the legendary actor Sidney Poitier. The late actor died on Jan. 6, 2022, and was widely known as the first Black actor to win the Oscar for Best Actor in 1964. The film was produced by his daughter, Anika Poitier.
