‘She’s Missing’

‘She’s Missing’ — ‘She’s Missing is a new independent drama directed by Alexandra McGuiness. The movie is being released in theaters and On Demand on Dec. 20. The movie’s synopsis reads, ‘When her best friend goes missing at a rodeo, Heidi goes on a search across the desert, digging up secrets and encountering the violence of life on the road.’ The film stars Lucy Fry as Heidi and Eiza González as Jane, as well as Josh Hartnett, Christian Camargo, Blake Berris, and more. Alexandra revealed that she first started writing this story when she moved to California in 2013. She drove around the desert and came across a small town with missing posters in it. ‘There was that aspect of the story but I wanted to tell a story about the type of friendship that the two main characters, Heidi and Jane, played by Lucy Fry and Eiza González, have in the movie,’ she said.
