Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne — Pics — All hail the ‘Prince Of Darkness’ – and his queen! Ozzy Osbourne is undeniably one of if not THE biggest name in heavy metal. From his time fronting Black Sabbath to his wildly successful solo career, the man born John Michael Osbourne will forever be associated with the genre he helped pioneer. He will also be grateful for the woman who is responsible for his success. Born Sharon Levy, the daughter of English music promoter/rock entrepreneur Don Arden, these two star-crossed lovers met when she was 18 years old and working for her father (Don was managing Black Sabbath at the time.) After Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979, he and Sharon began dating and she took over his management at a solo artist. The two were married in 1982 and they would welcome three children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.

With Sharon managing him, Ozzy would reach new heights of fame and success (while also reaching new lows due his struggles with drug and alcohol use.) Their relationship, having survived drug abuse, arrests and numerous other controversies, almost came to an end when he had an extramarital affair in 2016. Ultimately, Sharon forgave Ozzy, and the two patched up their marriage. She was also there for him in 2019, when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease following a bout with pneumonia and a fall in their Los Angeles home.
