Shania Twain — From Canada to the heart of the deep South, Shania Twain has conquered the world of country. Born Eileen Regina Edwards, the singer that would become Shania broke onto the scene in the early 1990s. She rose to fame with her second studio album, 1995’s ‘The Woman In Me,’ which sold 20 million copies worldwide. Her third album, ‘Come On Over,’ is the best-selling studio album of all time by a female act in any genre and the best-selling country album as it sold nearly 40 million copies worldwide. Her success was sadly derailed in the early 2000s when she was diagnosed with Lyme disease and dysphonia. After a lengthy hiatus and vocal rehabilitation, she launched her comeback with a Vegas residency in 2012. Since then, she has returned to touring and recording. ‘

Personally, Shania married Robert John “Mutt” Lange in 1993. They welcomed a son, Eja, in 2001. The two separated in 2008 after Lange allegedly had an affair with Shania’s best friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud. Since 2011, she has been married to Swiss Nestlé executive Frédéric Thiébaud, the ex-husband of Marie-Anne.
