‘Sex and the City’: All The Boyfriends & Husbands — The women of ‘Sex and the City’ went through quite a lot of men over the show’s 6 and a half seasons that aired from 1998 to 2004. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) dated a bevy of guys who turned out to be either a one-time type of deal for them or someone that had a significant relationship on their character development as the series progressed.

The men of the show ultimately helped make ‘SATC’ a massive hit that we still enjoy almost twenty years after it officially went off the air. The ups and downs that they put the four leading ladies through (and vice versa) was fascinating to watch with some ending up together at the end while others fell off for one reason or another.

Carrie and Big — Carrie with the one and only Mr. Big (Chris Noth). They put each other through quite the ride on ‘SATC’ over the years before ending up together in the series finale.

Carrie and Aidan — Aidan (John Corbett) was perfect for Carrie according to many of the show’s fans. It ultimately didn’t work out as they split not once, but twice.

Carrie and Ale — Aleksandr (Mikhail Baryshnikov) had such an influence on Carrie that he convinced her to move to Paris with him. That only lasted for a little while before she found herself in the arms of Big.

Carrie and Jack (Berger) — Carrie’s relationship with Berger (Ron Livingston) never really worked. She was a successful writer while his career in the field of journalism was going down the tubes. It turned into a recipe for disaster for them.

Samantha and Smith — Smith (Jason Lewis) swept Samantha off her feet. He stuck by her through her cancer diagnosis and even cut off his long, flowy hair to make her feel better about her sad situation.

Samantha and Richard — Richard (James Remar) was never good for Samantha. He cheated on her while they were in a relationship, much to her heartbreak.

Miranda and Steve

Miranda and Steve — Miranda and Steve (David Eigenberg) had a complicated relationship that included them having a baby and her rejecting his proposal. They were able to sort things out in the end by getting married in front of a couple of close loved ones.

Miranda and Dr. Robert

Miranda and Dr. Robert — Miranda and Dr. Robert (Blair Underwood) were smitten with one another during the show’s 6th season. She left him for Steve eventually even though he appeared to be perfect for her.

Charlotte and Harry — Harry (Evan Handler) swept Charlotte off her feet after her divorce from Trey. She even called him the best sex she’s ever had.

Charlotte and Trey — Charlotte found her dream guy in Trey (Kyle MacLachlan) during the show’s 3rd season. Their relationship eventually became a nightmare and they split months into their marriage.
