Scott Storch, born December 16, 1973, is an American music producer. Scott started out as the keyboardist for the band The Roots in the mid-90s. He earned his first Grammy nomination with the band in 1999. After leaving the group, Scott turned to producing. He received two Grammy nominations for producing Justin Timberlake’s album ‘Justified’ and 50 Cent’s song ‘Candy Shop.’ He’s worked with artists like Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, and DJ Khaled among many others. In the mid-2000s, Scott went bankrupt following his abuse of drugs — specifically cocaine. But by the early 2010s, he was ready for a comeback. He started producing again and as of 2020 is roughly six years sober. He is happily married to his wife and has children.
