Sarah Baker is an American actress who stars in The Kominsky Method on Netflix. In the Golden Globe Award-winning show, she plays Mindy, the daughter of Sandy Kominsky, an aging acting coach trying to keep up in the industry. With Mindy, he runs an acting school, but his daughter is the one keeping the place afloat. In addition to The Kominsky Method, Sarah has had numerous comedic roles starring alongside Melissa McCarthy in many of her films. In 2012 she appeared in The Campaign with Will Ferrell and then Tammy with McCarthy. She also appeared as Gildred in Melissa McCarthy’s Life of the Party, and co-starred in Paul Feig’s A Simple Favor. Recently, Sarah appeared in HBO’s Big Little Lies as Thea Cunningham. She’s well-known for playing the role of Vanessa on the fX show Louie and her performance was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series.
