Sam Trammell — Sam Trammell is an actor best known for his role as Sam Merlotte in the HBO series ‘True Blood’ alongside Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard. Sam has gone on to star in movies such as ‘The Fault in Our Stars,’ ‘Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase,’ and more. He played Dr. Kent Sutterer in the movie ‘Breakthrough.’ His co-star Chrissy Metz earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. He starred in the Netflix series ‘The Order’ in 2019 and appeared in four episodes of ‘This Is Us.’ The actor will recur in the final season of ‘Homeland’ as Vice President Benjamin Hayes. On top of acting in movies and TV, Sam is a stage actor as well.
