“I’ve changed a lot in the last five years,” Russell Brand said in 2017 while reflecting on his short-lived marriage to Katy Perry. Russell and Katy met in 2009, married in 2010, and by the end of 2011, he informed her via text message that he wanted a divorce. After finalizing the split in 2012, Russell changed his ways, which ultimately let him back to Lauren Gallacher.

After the two dated briefly in 2006, they bumped into each other in 2015. From there, a romance bloomed, resulting in their 2017 marriage. In 2016, they welcomed a daughter, Mabel, and gave her a little sister, Peggy, in 2018.

“I don’t compare my relationships now to previous relationships out of respect to my present wife and to Katy Perry. I think I’m an easier person to be with now.
