Ruby Jay — Ruby Jay is a young actress and singer. She stopped by HollywoodLife’s New York City studio in Nov. 2019. She is currently starring as Grace in the new CBS dramedy ‘The Unicorn’ alongside Walton Goggins, Omar Miller, Michaela Watkins, Rob Corddry, and Maya Lynne Robinson. She is also the star of Hulu’s ‘Holly Hobbie.’ She plays the main character of Holly. The show’s second season premiered Nov. 22. In addition to acting, she is also a talented singer. Ruby has released a number of singles including ‘Royalty,’ ‘Cherry Pop,’ ‘Young Love,’ and more. She gets to show off her singing skills on ‘Holly Hobbie’ as well. The 14-year-old is currently working on new music as well. She’s a busy starlet, that’s for sure! You need to keep your eye on her! She is one to watch. Ruby Jay On ‘Holly Hobbie’ Season 2 — ‘Holly actually changes a lot in season 2,’ Ruby told HollywoodLife. ‘I mean, the entire cast and show does in itself. They all mature and the way that they respond to things is a lot different so it was almost as if I was taking Holly and taking that year that it took for us to come back to film season 2, it’s like I took that year and incorporated everything that I had learned in my personal life and incorporated into Holly’s life.’

Ruby Jay On ‘The Unicorn’ — Ruby admitted that ‘The Unicorn’ has been such an amazing learning experience. ‘For me, I feel like I’m always more drawn to the more realistic parts of characters so I pull from that aspect but being able to learn from Michaela and Rob and see how they incorporate the comedy into this really heartfelt show is definitely interesting and I’m learning a lot,’ she told HollywoodLife.
