‘Sister Wives’ has become a global phenomenon. It is a hit show on TLC, which features Kody Brown’s relationship with his four wives.
The show was considered pretty groundbreaking, as it delved into the idea and practice of polygamy. For those of you not familiar with the term, it is simply defined as the practice or custom of having more than one wife or husband at the same time.
Sister Wives premiered on the network on September 26, 2010 and followed the lives of Kody Brown and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn as they took residence in Lehi, Utah, and then Las Vegas, Nevada. Kody is only legally married to his fourth wife Robyn, but they all lived under the same roof and take care of their combined 18 children. Now, the family lives on separate properties in Arizona, but are still considered one unit. Kody and Christine split in November 2021 and he and Janelle separated the following year.
