Ray Fisher was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Lawnside, New Jersey. While attending Haddon Heights High School, he dscovered theatre and also sang in the school choir. After studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, he earned several roles in theatre, most notably as the late Muhammad Ali in ‘Fetch Clay, Make Man’ where he gained 20 pounds for the role. Shortly after, he was confirmed to be making his silver screen debut as the Cyborg/Victor Stone in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ alongside Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, going onto reprise the role in 2017’s ensemble movie ‘Justice League. In June 2020, Ray spoke out against Justice League director Joss Whedon, alleging he was ‘abusive’ and ‘unprofessional’ towards cast on set.
