Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are ending their marriage over six years after they fell in love on ‘The Bachelorette.’
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo met on season 13 of The Bachelorette, which filmed from March until May of 2017 and aired shortly after. Rachel became the Bachelorette after getting dumped by Nick Viall on season 21 of The Bachelor. She was eliminated at the final three rose ceremony. Rachel was the first African American woman to be named the Bachelorette, and she fell in love with Bryan on the show. He proposed to her during the season finale, which aired in August 2017. Rachel and Bryan took their wedding planning slow and did not set a date until August 2019, more than two years after getting engaged. After the show, Rachel and Bryan spent a couple of years in her hometown, Dallas, Texas, but eventually relocated to his hometown of Miami, Florida.
