Peter Alexander — Peter Alexander, born July 29, 1976, is an American journalist and White House correspondent. Peter joined the NBC news team in 2004, and his first assignment chronicled the deadly Indonesian tsunami that affected so many people. He went go on to cover events like the Virginia Tech Massacre, assassination of Osama Bin Laden, and historic Iraq election. Peter and the NBC team have earned four Emmy nominations for their reporting work. Peter has been reporting on the Trump administration since his election in 2016. The pair have sparred on multiple, very public occasions. Prior to working for NBC in 2004, Peter graduated from North Western University and is married with a wife and two children. They live in the Washington D.C. suburbs. Here, Peter Alexander appears on NBC’s Today show at Rockefeller Plaza in New York in July 2019.
