Paul Mescal, born February 2, is an Irish actor gaining recognition for both his impressive talent and undeniable charm. He studied at Trinity College’s renowned Lir Academy, graduating in 2017 before embarking on a series of stage roles in Dublin theater.

Mescal’s breakout role came with the critically acclaimed miniseries Normal People (2020), where his portrayal of Connell Waldron earned him a British Academy Television Award and a Primetime Emmy nomination. He made his film debut in 2021 with The Lost Daughter, and since then, he’s starred in notable features like God’s Creatures (2022) and Aftersun (2022).

Beyond his acting career, Mescal’s personal life has also made headlines. After being linked to singer Phoebe Bridgers in 2020, the two parted ways. Recently, Mescal has been spending time with singer Gracie Abrams, and in August, they were spotted kissing. The couple made their relationship official when they were photographed together at the Gladiator II premiere in Los Angeles on November 18, 2024.
