Oscars Highlights 2021 — The 2021 Oscars took place in Los Angeles on April 25, and celebrities like Angela Bassett, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon and more attended. It was one of the first award shows to bring celebrities back together amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, so the event served as a reunion of sorts. And during the 93rd annual ceremony, so many fun and memorable moments occurred. For example, iconic actress Halle Berry debuted a new hair makeover, supermodel Paulina Porizkova flaunted her new romance with director Aaron Sorkin on the red carpet, and Regina King opened the host-less show flawlessly. She even almost tripped, but recovered like a pro. There was also a mention of ‘Saved By The Bell’s Zack Morris, so that was pretty cool, too.

H.E.R. — During the Oscars pre-show, H.E.R. performed “Fight for You” — she also co-wrote the song and performed it during the end credits for “Judas and the Black Messiah.”

Celeste — Celeste performed “Hear My Voice,” the closing theme from “The Trial of the Chicago 7,” during the Oscars pre-show. She was joined by the film’s composer and her co-writer on the song, Daniel Pemberton.
