Liam Payne‘s body was returned from Argentina, where he tragically passed away on October 16 after falling from the third-floor balcony of his Buenos Aires hotel room. He was 31.
On November 20, the singer’s funeral took place in Amersham, 27 miles northwest of Central London in Buckinghamshire. The service saw many paying their respects to a friend, family member, and loved one. Among the guests were the rest of the One Direction band—Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson—along with Simon Cowell, who helped form the band on The X Factor. Also in attendance were Cheryl, who shares a son, Bear, with Payne, Kate Cassidy, Payne’s girlfriend, and many others.
